A joint Police/CANU Operation which was mounted, on Tuesday July 29th, 2003 resulted in five (5) persons among them a female and a Columbian to be arrested and taken into custody, for questioning pertaining to the seizure and suspected circulation of counterfeit U.S Currency.

The operation which was executed at two locations, one in Georgetown and the other in EBD resulted in the discovery in the total of $40,000.00 US Currency (forty thousand, two hundred dollars) suspected bogus of US $100.00 bills.

Investigations are continuing .
