The Ministry of Labour, Human Services & Social Security

Due to Capital Repairs to Wards 6, 7 & 8 of the Palms Geriatric Institution it is necessary to evacuate the patients/residents of that ward. There are severe constraints on the availability of space since the Institution is full to capacity.

The Ministry of Labour, Human Services & Social Security is therefore kindly asking persons who have relative(s) at the Institution to assist by providing accommodation for them for a period of 3 to 4 weeks in order to facilitate the repairs.

The assistance of relatives in this regard is critical and their fullest cooperation is solicited.

The Ministry regrets any inconvenience this may' cause the patients/residents of the Palms Institution and their relatives.
